NCUSLR Webinar announcement

Washington, D.C. Oct 24, 2022.

On the occasion of the first anniversary of the publication of Jason Pack’s book

“Libya and the Global Enduring Disorder”

the NCUSLR organizes a webinar on

November 14, 2022, 11.00 - 12.30 EST,

to discuss

  • How are developments in Libya representative of the current state of Global Affairs which Jason Pack terms ‘the Global Enduring Disorder’?

  • How can Libya get out from this enduring disorder?

  • What are the lessons from Libya as a case study about how the enduring disorder play out in other domains like Ukraine?

  • What should be the the U.S. try to do in the Middle East and elsewhere to mitigate the spread of the Enduring Disorder?

Pack’s book postulates that the world seems to have gone directly from a hegemonic US-led international system to an interregnum in global order. The traditional phase of multipolarity—or a restoration of the balance of power, or even a struggle among rival systems of order has been skipped.

After Mr. Pack has introduced his book, a panel of distinguished experts will give its view from an American, an European, and a Libyan perspective.

Register now, so that you can join the discussion and ask your questions.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
